Okay, so this 'SCERT' robot in use with the Somerset police in Great
Britain isn't going to arrest anybody any time soon. We get that Robocop
is still a few years off. But just look at this thing clambering up the
stairs and tell us you're not a bit terrified!
Alternatively, you can also feel comfortable in the knowledge that now police will be able to deal directly with hazardous situations, from gas leaks to bomb threats, with minimal risk to its personnel. That alone should be worth it.
